Biography
Charles W. Hanor practices intellectual property litigation and patent and trademark prosecution. His education includes a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Missouri at Columbia and a J.D. from the George Washington University National Law Center.
Mr. Hanor started his career in intellectual property as an examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark office in 1970. He has over thirty years of experience in virtually every aspect of intellectual property. In addition, he was a law clerk for the Hon. Howard T. Markey, former chief judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Since 1980 he has been adjunct professor at St Mary's University Law School and currently teaches patent law, copyright law, trademark law, trade secret law and computer and internet law. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, Supreme Court of Texas, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and various United States district and circuit courts.
