Biography
Chris Miciotto was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1969. He attended high school at Loyola College Prep in Shreveport. Chris received his Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Louisiana-Monroe (1993), where he also served as a student assistant coach and recruiter for the men's basketball team. During his time at ULM, the men's basketball team won four Southland Conference championships and made four NCAA Tournament appearances
Chris received his law degree from Oklahoma City University (1997) and returned home to Shreveport to practice law. He also taught American History and coached golf at Woodlawn High School and Fair Park High School in Shreveport from 2007 to 2014, and was an adjunct professor of history at Bossier Parish Community College. Due to his success and popularity as a teacher, he was selected Teacher of the Year in 2013.
In 2014, Chris joined the Law Office of Allen Cooper. Chris has years of experience handling personal injury (auto accidents, slip and fall accidents, and premises liability injuries), workers' compensation (on-the-job injuries), social security disability, criminal law, and family law cases. He also handles cases in sports and entertainment law, representing professional athletes and actors. He has been named as one of the top lawyers by SB Magazine in multiple years.
