Biography
Mr. Venters was admitted to the North Carolina Bar and United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina in 2013.
Mr. Venters' practice is concentrated in representation of consumers and businesses in Bankruptcy Court; bankruptcy alternatives or "workouts"; and other bankruptcy related matters; collection of debts; trial of civil and commercial disputes; personal injury; landlord/tenant law; and federal criminal law.
In 2016, Mr. Venters was admitted to the Criminal Justice Act Panel in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and currently services as an active attorney representing persons accused of commmiting a federal criminal offense.
Prior to joining the law firm of Stubbs & Perdue, P.A., Mr. Venters served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Randy D. Doub, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina, deceased, and judicial law clerk to the Honorable James E. Gates, the Honorable Robert B. Jones, Jr., and the Honorable Kimberly A. Swank, United States Magistrate Judges for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
