Specializing in real estate, condemnation, commercial and construction law, I provide legal counsel to designers, contractors, condemning authorities, and owners in matters of dispute prevention and resolution, and the drafting and negotiation of contracts. I am the University of Kansas' Adjunct Professor of Law teaching construction law and litigation, am the author of many articles on construction, procedure and liability issues, and frequently speak about such issues to attorneys, students, condemning authorities, design and construction professionals, and the public. I am past president of the Kansas Bar Association's construction law section and am a graduate of the University of Kansas, receiving my B.A. in 1991 and J.D. in 1993.

I have litigated, tried and settled millions of dollars on behalf of plaintiffs, and defeated tens of millions of dollars of claims on behalf of defendants.
