Christopher Baker is an Associate Attorney at James Law Firm, primarily handling Federal criminal defense cases that frequently intersect with charges from the State of Arkansas. Chris began his professional journey with the United States Navy as a submariner, overseeing operations of long-range Tomahawk missile systems and delving into information security. During this time, he also achieved expert status in rifle and pistol shooting and served as an onboard assistant firearms instructor.

After his naval service, Chris transitioned into criminal defense, working as an investigator and process server. His career trajectory led him to various roles, including positions at the Federal Bureau of Prisons and as a Special Agent intern in ICE-HSI's Counter-Proliferations Unit. Beyond his work experiences, Chris has a comprehensive understanding of federal firearm regulations, bolstered by instructor certifications from the recognized national organizations. 

On the academic front, Chris holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas Bowen School of Law and a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland University College. Coupled with his background in computer network security from his navy days, Chris brings a unique perspective to his role, ensuring a well-rounded approach to serving clients at James Law Firm.  Chris is currently pursuing a Masters in Law at Florida State University in Financial Regulation and Compliance.
