Christopher Lyon is a Partner in the Baltimore Office of Simms Showers LLP.  In his practice, he represents businesses and professionals in the areas of intellectual property protection and employment law.   His practice includes counseling clients on the protection of trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets and on compliance with federal and state employment laws.  He also prosecutes, and defends, infringement actions involving the unauthorized and unlawful use of intellectual property as well as other claims involving unfair or deceptive trade practices and complex business disputes.  Prior to joining Simms Showers, Mr. Lyon was a Principal at a boutique intellectual property firm in Baltimore where he practiced for approximately seven years in the litigation department.  Mr. Lyon, a Maryland native, began his legal career in 2003 at a large Baltimore firm where he was trained as a trial attorney.
