In addition to being a general corporate practice attorney, Mr. Nuneviller is considered by many in the Pentagon to be one of the foremost experts in military personnel law, and only one of a less than a handful currently in private practice.  He has served on the personal staffs of the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of the Army, and the General Counsel of the Department of the Army.  He served for seven years as an oversight attorney ensuring that the career-ending decisions made by the General Courts-Marital Convening and Show Cause Authorities, every General Officer, and every Senior Rater strictly complied with the regulations that govern the bad things that officers in these positions can do to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, members of the Public Health Service, and the NOAA Commissioned Officer Corps.  Mr. Nuneviller is now using that experience, skill, and knowledge to ensure that Service members are not intimidated by a chain of command that only wants to ensure “justice is done.”
