Biography
Chris is an attorney in Kaufman & Canoles’ Williamsburg and Norfolk offices, where he is a member of the firm’s Litigation Section and Government Contracts and Construction Practice Group. His practice focuses on a broad range of civil litigation matters, including business, commercial, real estate, government contracts, and construction disputes before state and federal courts, administrative boards, and through alternative dispute resolution.
Chris counsels clients ranging from small businesses to large defense contractors on a wide variety of government contracts matters, including drafting, negotiation, and administration of contracts, subcontracts, NDAs and other similar documents, compliance with the GSA Schedule and the SBA’s 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB and small business programs, revolving door restrictions, export control issues, procurement integrity and false claim issues, and merger and acquisition due diligence. Chris also has experience in the preparation and prosecution of bid protests, claims and appeals, and requests for equitable adjustments.
