I focus my practice on business and commercial litigation, representing  clients in state and federal court in a variety of matters, including financial services, real estate, professional liability, product liability, insurance, employment and transportation. I have also defended health care institutions, providers, and professionals.  

I  am currently an alternate-member of the New Hanover County Board of Adjustment, having served in this capacity since 2012.  I am also a member of the Executive Board of Wilmington Downtown, Inc. (WDI) leading WDI's "Work" committee on economic development issues in Wilmington's downtown. 

I live in Wilmington with my wife and three children.  I am an avid soccer player and coach with Wilmington Hammerheads Youth FC.  I love running, swimming and spending time with my family on the water.  I am a member of First Christian Church of Wilmington.
