Attorney W. P. Colin Smith Jr. of SmithMcNeill PC in Boston brings pragmatic sophistication to his practice. He graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover, earned his bachelor's degree from Boston University, where he was captain of the ski team and a letter winner in sailing. He completed his J.D. at the Boston University School of Law, cum laude. Colin was a law clerk on the United States Circuit Court for the District of Columbia. After clerking, he was an associate at the Boston law firm Nutter, McClennen and Fish in the litigation department. Colin served as a full professor at the New England School of Law for more than 25 years and taught graduate-level courses at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During his years of teaching, he practiced as of counsel to Bradley, Barry & Tarlow in Boston and practiced at The Egan Building in Gloucester. As a result, Colin has established strong relationships in the legal profession, business, academic institutions and government.
