As a lawyer I have prepared patent applications, and negotiated for patent rights with international patent offices as an Assistant General Counsel of a large international corporation, as an associate in a large international law firm, and now as the Chief IP Counsel for another international corporation in the semiconductor industry. I am a member of the US Patent Bar and State Bars of Texas and Montana, successfully passing all 5 required exams in Montana 7 years after law school; Previously served 6 years as a US Army Infantry Officer and 8 years in Fortune 200 sales and marketing prior to law school.
