For over 20 years, I’m honored to have built my reputation and, then, developed my practice based on the referral of other lawyers and clients. I’ve focused my career on listening to the needs and wants of my clients. I’ve been described as friendly, personable and direct and I do my utmost to provide clear and objective counsel. I have received many honors and awards throughout my career, most notably the Martindale-Hubbell’s “AV® Preeminent™” rating, which is the highest peer review rating in professional ethics and legal ability.

I have handled constitutional and appellate litigation in the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of Illinois, and other courts throughout the country.

My skill as a Trial Lawyer have led me to a number of positions teaching both law students and attorneys. In addition to my active personal injury practice, I am an adjunct professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, teaching trial advocacy. I previously taught legal writing skills at the John Marshall Law School. I have, also, served as an instructor with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) and its deposition program. In November 2006, I was invited to and participated in NITA’s Pacific Teacher Training class on teaching advocacy skills in San Francisco, California. I was an instructor with the CBA College of Trial Advocacy and an instructor for the Federal Trial Bar Training Course on the art of expert examination at trial.
