Ms. Mexia is an associate attorney at Strunk Loos and has practiced family law exclusively for nearly 10 years. Ms. Mexia represents clients in all aspects of family law matters, including paternity disputes, dissolution of marriage, child custody, child and spousal support, and division of assets and debts. Ms. Mexia reduces the conflict which often permeates family law matters, by introducing civility and compassion into her practice.

Ms. Mexia earned her Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School in 2011 and was admitted to the State Bar of California on December 1, 2011. While in law school, Ms. Mexia served as a law clerk for an Orange County Superior Court Judge, The Honorable Ronald Kreber, at Lamoreaux Justice Center. She also worked on the Orange County District Attorney’s Office’s juvenile delinquency panel.

Ms. Mexia also gained invaluable experience providing pro bono legal representation for indigent clients in family law and probate cases as a state certified law clerk for Whittier Law School’s Children’s Rights Clinic. Ms. Mexia was also an active member of her law school community, serving as the Research Editor of the Journal of Child & Family Advocacy, member of the Moot Court Honors Board, and member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board. Her involvement with the Moot Court Honors Board included participation in the prestigious Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
