Having graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island and a Master’s Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Medicine, Attorney Borrelli developed a wide breadth of knowledge in the areas of biological, physiological, and anatomical anomalies including a solid understanding of the complex and intricate effects various disabilities can have on a person’s ability to function throughout their daily lives. Applying his legal acumen, he continues to consult with private practice health care providers utilizing his Medico-Legal expertise and knowledge of regulatory compliance to mitigate risk while analyzing protocols and overseeing implementation of corrective measures to ensure optimal compliance with State and Federal Regulatory Agencies.

Chosen by his peers to serve as their class ethical representative, he graduated summa cum laude from the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy. His accomplished career in law enforcement includes multiple commendations; service as a SWAT team member and field training officer; and election as President of the I.B.P.O./NAGE Union Local 489. His many years of service as a police officer provided him with a practical hands-on education and intimate insight into criminal law and procedure that could not be attained through text books alone.

Attorney Borrelli is a Board Member of The Badge of Life, an organization committed to increasing awareness and working towards the reduction of police stress, trauma and suicide by providing training and educational programs in the United States and Canada. Hs is also a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, National Contract Management Association, National Italian American Bar Association, Rhode Island Bar Association, The Federalist Society, and the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternal Brotherhood.
