Daniel A. Gross serves as Senior Counsel in the firm’s Friendship Heights office and represents clients throughout Maryland. He is dedicated to serving his clients and believes that they deserve an attorney who will put forth the time and effort necessary to assist them in getting the results they desire. Mr. Gross is experienced in many types of family law cases, including divorce cases, child support, child custody, adoption, and name change, as well as in estate planning. While Mr. Gross is a trial attorney who spends most of his days in court and has handled numerous jury trials and bench trials, he understands that fighting in court is not the only pathway to a win.

If it is possible to resolve a matter in an amicable way, such as a thorough mediation, Mr. Gross will encourage that strategy. This allows the involved parties to navigate a difficult experience with dignity while keeping legal fees down. Mr. Gross is also a trained mediator and served as a founding board member on the Charleston Mediation and Meeting Society. However, in cases where agreement and cooperation are not feasible, Mr. Gross is willing to fight for the rights of his clients and their children.

Mr. Gross is a member of the Superior Court Trial Lawyers Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and various other professional organizations. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in international politics and New England Law | Boston. While he is a native of New York City, he has chosen to make the Washington, D.C. Metro area his home and enjoys the opportunity to represent the people of this great city. He is an avid Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals fan.
