Daniel is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served four years active duty. Daniel received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and his Juris Doctor at Chapman University (Dale E. Fowler) School of Law in Orange, California. At Chapman, Daniel clerked both summers at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
