Biography
Attorney Danny Levitas draws on a long career devoted to pursuing social and economic justice for working people regardless of their race, gender, or station in life.
Today, as a workers’ compensation claimants’ attorney with Clements & Sweet, Danny brings decades of experience as a writer, lobbyist, and nonprofit organization executive to his law practice where he is devoted to helping injured workers.
Danny graduated from the University of Michigan in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources and graduated Emory Law School with honors in 2010 as the second-oldest student in his graduating class.
Immediately prior to law school he served on the national staff of the American Civil Liberties Union voting rights project where he worked on the successful national campaign to reauthorize the expiring provisions of the landmark 1965 Voting Rights Act, which President George W. At Emory, Danny served as an executive managing editor of the Emory Law Journal. He also received the Henry Quillian Prize in Contracts for Best Overall Performance in Contracts and Commercial Law, and won the Best Oralist Award in the Spring 2008 Intraschool Moot Court Competition.
Danny loves what he does, and shares a passion and concern for injured workers with his fellow attorneys at Clement & Sweet, LLP.
