I started my legal career even before college when I worked as a runner for the Clark County Public Defender's Office.  I learned there that all people deserve a second chance.  As a criminal defense attorney, I try to defend my clients against oppressive law enforcement and prosecution so they get their second chance.

I accumulated vast experience in several different legal areas. At Gonzaga Law School I interned at the "Low Income Taxpayer Clinic," where I helped fight for my clients' rights before the IRS.  I also worked as a runner at the Clark County District Attorney's Office, which exposed me to prosecutorial practices and strategies that I can now use in my clients' favor when I defend them.  I've also worked as a contract attorney and an associate attorney at various law firms.  

My philosophy in representing clients is best summed up by a favorite quotation told to me by the Honorable Judge Lloyd George: "Be on time, be prepared, and be civil."
