Biography
I am Houston native, after graduating high school I decided to attend Sam Houston State University to study Criminal Justice and Psychology, I originally intended to go into law enforcement and pursue a career in forensic psychology.
During my studies I saw the injustices and unfairness that occur to many people caught up in a system which is complicated and where their resources pale in comparison to the opposing side. I decided to pursue a legal education with the hopes of helping people that often times could not help themselves that were caught up in and outgunned by a massive system.
While attending South Texas College of Law I participated in their advocacy program, learning valuable trial skills, focusing on criminal law, and working with the Actual Innocence Project of Texas. After graduation I spent some time working in the oil and gas industry. A short time after that I decided I needed a change. I decided to use my education and skills in order to help people that were fighting against a heavily entrenched system of insurance companies and complex rules that currently govern personal injury and workers' compensation claims.
