Darren C. O’Toole is a life long resident of Monmouth County.  Mr. O'Toole attended Bethany College, graduating Summa Cum Laude 1996 studying both psychology and economics. Thereafter Mr. O'Toole attended Rutgers Law School in Camden, NJ, earning his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1999.

Mr. O'Toole was an active member of the Domestic Violence Practice and Reform Project while serving as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph H. Rodriguez of the United States District Court.

Thereafter, Mr. O'Toole completed a clerkship Family Part of the Superior Court, Monmouth County, NJ. Mr. O'Toole also served as a law clerk in the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

Mr. O'Toole was a partner in the firm of Jacobowitz, Defino, Latimer & O’Toole, where he practiced family law prior to opening his own practice in 2011, The Law Offices of Darren O’Toole.

Focusing primarily on all aspects of family law, Mr. O'Toole’s practice includes dissolution of marriage, child custody, child support, adoption, spousal support, domestic violence trials, relocation, shared parenting time arrangements, and mediation and resolution of all family law matters.

Mr. O'Toole has been recognized as a Super Lawyer for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.  He has been recognized by NJ Monthly as a Top Matrimonial Attorney for several years.

Mr. O'Toole is a Member of the Monmouth Bar Association, Monmouth County Family Law Committee Trustee, Ocean County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Division,

Darren O'Toole resides in Monmouth County with his wife, four children, and two dogs.
