Dave grew up around the world, finally landing in San Diego for college (“Why would anyone leave?”). After graduating from the writing program at UCSD Muir College, Mr. Cain followed in his father’s footsteps as a military officer and transport pilot. He left the airline cockpit to raise children and publish flight manuals for combat aircraft while attending California Western School of Law. Dave gained his first litigation experience at an AMLAW 100 firm defending a global airline. Mr. Cain now leverages that experience for the benefit of Batta|Fulkerson and pro bono clients. In his spare time, Dave enjoys spending time with his partner, Claudia, and their seven kids.
