Compassion and understanding are at the core of how I approach the challenges that face my clients.  Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, it is my honor to have served as a judge advocate in the US Marine Corps.  I have served with infantry in Iraq, with NATO throughout Europe and with the highest planning levels of the Marine Corps.  As a reservist, I  specialize in disability law where I guide wounded warriors through the medical separation process.  As a result, my experience is with the earliest stages of a disability claim and the innermost workings of the VA.  As a civilian attorney, I spent many years defending debt collectors and banks and as a result, I enjoy providing useful guidance to my clients regarding financial issues.
