David McWilliam is an attorney practicing in Fort Mill, South Carolina. His legal practice includes divorce law and family law.  David is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, providing his clients with financial planning knowledge throughout the legal process.

David is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, but moved to Greenville, South Carolina with his family as a child. He received his undergraduate degrees from The College of Charleston, and graduated from The University of South Carolina School of Law.

David has previously worked in the private sector for a financial planning company helping clients with estate planning and financial organization. He is uniquely equipped to help you with your family law issues as a CFP® professional, no matter how simple or complex your case may be. As family law cases often affect your assets and estate, David will be a knowledgeable advocate on your side. 

As a sole practitioner, David has done work in family law, criminal defense, wills, trusts and estates, real estate, and patents. His office is conveniently located off Interstate 77 at the corner of Pleasant Road and Highway 460 in Fort Mill, and he serves clients all over the state of South Carolina.
