One of the things that most sets David apart as a trial lawyer is his role in some of the most celebrated and consequential product liability cases ever heard in the American legal system, involving some of the nation's largest corporations, some of the world's most-recognized brands, and "bet the company" stakes. 

David's courtroom work has brought honors and recognition from peers, clients, and others.  The Legal 500 named him "a national star" in products liability litigation; Benchmark Litigation describes him as "high caliber ... with a likeability factor that is invaluable in front of a jury"; Newsday headlined his "searing" cross-examination of a key medical witnesses in the trial of a Long Island cancer case.  And the Australian Financial Times told that David's pre-trial examination of a whistleblower in a massive federal RICO action caused the witness to "storm out of the room," and his lawyer "extreme embarassment."    

With roots in an historic New England seaport, David began his litigation career at Chadbourne & Parke, before joining Herbert Smith Freehills.  A few years ago, he left "big law" to begin his own practice.
