Biography

Mr. Skilling has served as lead counsel in numerous bench and jury trials, as well as arbitrations, obtaining millions of dollars in compensation for his clients. This litigation and trial work has pitted him against some of the biggest companies in the world, such as Microsoft, DirecTV and Chevron, as well as large municipalities and government agencies. In a rare accomplishment, Mr. Skilling won his first civil trial while still in law school. He spent the first seven years of practice working in San Diego before moving back with his family to Colorado in 2014 where he currently works with both California and Colorado clients from Skilling O’Leary’s Denver office.
