Biography
David M. Pyun, Esq. concentrates on advising and representing individuals and families in the Spanish speaking and Asian communities. Focusing on Real Estate() and Immigration Law (), David is devoted to each client he takes on. David isn't only bi-lingual...he's tri-lingual. Being fluent in English, Spanish and Korean, he dedicates his efforts to the communities that have supported him all of his life. David first realized his goal of become an attorney in 1987, when he received his Law Degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Buenos Aires. This made him the first male foreign-born lawyer in Buenos Aires. His career began as the legal counsel to the LG branch office in Buenos Aires.
When he immigrated to the United States , he again faced his driving need to become an attorney. And, once more he succeeded by obtaining his Law Degree from Fordham Law School and passing the New York State Bar in 2003.
For the past several years, David has worked with companies from abroad advising them on access to capital and strategic planning. He has also been practicing in various areas of the law...including residential & commercial real estate, consumer bankruptcies and immigration. He now concentrates mainly on Real Estate() and Immigration Law ().
David understands firsthand the heart of various immigration issues and dedicates himself to going the extra mile for his clients in the tri-state area and abroad. He is currently representing a Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) pro bono case with Safe Passage. In addition, he joined the Study Group on Immigrant Representation that strives to improve mechanisms of legal service delivery and quality of representation to noncitizens. Group members include federal judges, fellow attorneys, non-profit organizations and various representatives from Bar associations.
