David Mayer is the managing partner of Monsees & Mayer, P.C. David’s practice concentrates on the safety of children and the elderly. David has represented numerous children who have been sexually abused by ministers, day care employees, family members and teachers; handicapped children who have been neglected or abused, injury to the elderly from negligent nursing homes, injuries at swimming facilities and insurance coverage issues.  For these efforts, David has been admitted to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, has received the top AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, recognized as one of the top 10 lawyers in Missouri by AIPIA, selected a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the American Trial Lawyers Association and the American Society of Legal Advocates, and the Nation’s Top 1% of lawyers by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.  David volunteers his time for legal aid programs throughout Missouri and Kansas and serves on the Board of various not-for-profit charity organizations, including the UMKC Law Foundation.
