I was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.  As a boy, I attended Sacred Heart Academy.  It was there where I met my wife, Taren.  Upon graduating from high school, I attended Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, in 2008. Following graduation from CMU, I attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, Californina,  where I obtained my Juris Doctorate, in 2012.  While in law school, I received the Witkin Award for Excellence in Evidence and Pro Bono Honors Award for giving over 150 hours of service at the San Diego County Office of the Public Defender.  I am a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the current President of the Isabella County Bar Association.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, and our 5 year old Weimaraner Gracie.  I also enjoy playing golf with my two brothers and my dad and traveling the world when I can get away from the office.
