My name is Dave Zuckerman, and I am a hard-working Pittsburgh DUI, criminal and traffic defense attorney. As an active trial attorney, I have served as lead counsel on approximately 60 jury and non-jury trials, and hundreds of preliminary hearings and summary trials.

What sets me apart from most other Pittsburgh criminal defense attorneys is my experience working in all three phases of the criminal justice system: as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Court of Common Pleas (40th District), as an Assistant District Attorney with a near 80% conviction rate on jury trial litigation, and as a criminal/DUI defense attorney and founding attorney for the Zuckerman Law Firm, LLC.

As an Allegheny County Assistant District Attorney in the General Trial Unit, I handled the prosecution of approximately 150-300 criminal cases per year. As an area prosecutor, I litigated several hundred preliminary hearings in Magisterial District Courts throughout Allegheny County. During my time there, I provided guidance to police departments on conducting criminal investigations and making charging decisions.

As a Pittsburgh criminal defense attorney, I have been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer's Rising Star (2018-present) and as a Top 100 and Top 40 Under 40 Criminal Defense Attorney by the National Trial Lawyers (2015-present).
