Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a bachelors degree in Business Administration and Political Science before attending Creighton University School of Law. 

Following law school graduation I moved to Colorado Springs, where I began my career as a trial attorney, primarily, representing individuals in personal injury, wrongful death, employment actions, and insurance disputes.   By 2007, my practice had grown to include defending individuals and companies in civil courts focusing on contract disputes, civil litigation, personal injury, labor and employment, and insurance defense.

I am currently admitted in Nebraska and Colorado.

I am currently a member of the Colorado Bar Association, El Paso County Bar Association, and Nebraska Bar Association.
