Biography
Experience:
Debbie Snow is an associate attorney at Pearson, Butler, & Carson. Her practice is primarily focused in the areas of family law, including divorce, parentage, child custody and visitation, divorce decree modifications, guardianships, and adoption.
Prior to joining Pearson, Butler & Carson, Ms. Snow practiced family law for five years. Some highlights from her prior experience include jurisdictional work for out-of-state parents, reuniting children with parents who had been denied visitation, and trial work. She also has significant insight and experience into conflicts centered around financial strain in families and can help clients divide and reorganize financially during their divorce process.
Ms. Snow earned her B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, and her J.D. degree from J. Reuben Clark (BYU) Law School, where she was an associate editor of the BYU Law Review and a member of the law school’s Trial Advocacy and International Moot Court teams. She is a member of the Utah State Bar (section on Family Law). Ms. Snow is fluent in Thai.
Civic Services:
Ms. Snow also serves currently as a City Councilwoman for the City of South Salt Lake, where she represents the interests of a diverse urban community in matters such as local economic development, land use, planning & zoning, city budgeting, city services, social programming and education.
