Mrs. Smith values service to her community. Currently, she serves as a board member of the Universal Branch of the Boys and Girls Club, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Orange County Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Board Member of the Pink Pearl Foundation and UNCF, and volunteer at various impoverished neighborhoods in the Central Florida Community.

Mrs. Smith is licensed in all Florida state courts, the Middle District of Florida (federal court), and the Southern District of Florida (federal court).
