I am a Labor and Employment Law Specialist certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA).  A MSBA certification is obtained only if a certain percentage of an attorney's practice is devoted to a certain area, the attorney receives the endorsements of judges and other attorneys, and passes a written test in the particular area of the law.

In addition to being a certified specialist, I have been an Administrative Law Judge (1994-2003) and have handled litigation in the courtroom since 1974 as a prosecutor, defense counsel, employee's counsel or judge. 

I am experienced in all areas of employment law, from hiring to termination and everything in between.  I have handled many employment cases in the courtroom, or on appeal, including non-compete, non-solicit, confidentiality agreements, minority sharehoilder/owner matters,  and similar cases.
