A graduate of Harvard Law School, I have been practicing law in Maine for 48 years. My original firm was named named Lowry & Platt, the firm was founded in 1971, I have continually specialzed in representing injured people  in Maine since 1983.

I am a former prosecutor and criminal defense lawyer. Since the formation of Lowry & Associates in 1983  I have overseen the handling of thousands of cases on behalf of Maine citizens resulting in millions of dollars in recoveries.

I am an active participant in a variety of community affairs. I am a founding member of the boards of PROP and Pine Tree Legal Assistance, both of which I served as president. I have  served on the Town Council and the Planning Board in Falmouth, the boards of directors of the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Portland United Way and the Portland Symphony Orchestra.

My familyincludes my wife Betsy , my 10 grown children and 19 grandchildren.
