Douglas A. Crawford, a partner at the AV-rated law firm Benkie & Crawford, focuses his practice on civil litigation representing clients in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, medical malpractice and civil rights. He graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Political Science in 1981 and earned his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1986. He has served as Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Bethel College in 1992, and Adjunct Instructor of Church and Law at Indiana Bible College from 1997 to 2000.

Doug is a Sustaining Member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. He has lectured for National Business Institute at numerous continuing legal education seminars, including Auto Accident Evidence and Reconstruction 2008, Rules and Procedures for Federal Court Success, 2008, Premises Liability Case Preparation and Trial 2011, Damages in Personal Injury 2012, Managing Liens and Subrogation in Auto Accident Litigation 2013, Voir Dire and Jury Selection 2014, Advanced Civil Litigation Skills in Indiana 2015, and Auto Injuries: Advanced Plaintiff Strategies 2017.
