DJ Carson is a native Columbia, South Carolinian growing up in Forest Acres. He studied law and graduated from Touro Law Center in Long Island, New York — recognized numerous times by preLaw Magazine as one of the country's best law schools for practical training and recognized as a high-ranking criminal law program. D.J. returned to South Carolina to pursue the field he is passionate about to this day.

Mr. Carson served as an assistant solicitor in the 5th Circuit, where many cases he prosecuted were drug offenses. This experience helped him realize and understand critical issues plaguing the community, from the lack of education-to-career opportunities leading to the continuing increase of gang-related activity. Mr. Carson’s focus on the youth creates a passion for him to help them overcome a mistake that can limit life opportunities for success.

Mr. Carson moved forward with his career as an associate of Whetstone Perkins & Fulda, LLC before opening The Carson Law Firm, LLC.
