Biography
Mr. Holmes represents individuals and local, regional, and national business from pre-trial to the appellate stage. He has represented clients in a variety of matters in state and federal court, including contract disputes, employment law, product liability, intellectual property, insurance coverage, and professional and general liability cases.
During law school, Mr. Holmes was member of both the UNLV Gaming Law Journal and the Society of Advocates, Boyd's moot court team. He served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Donald M. Mosley (Ret.) in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada and as a teaching assistant to the Lawyer Processing Program at Boyd. Mr. Holmes was a recipient of the National Order of Scribes Award from the American Society of Legal Writers.
Mr. Holmes' community service work includes volunteering with Clark County Law Foundation's Trial By Peers program, a diversion program used as an alternative for certain juvenile offenders. The program allows youth charged with misdemeanors to be tried, represented, and sentenced by their peers.
