Biography
When interviewing any attorney, one should always ask two crucial questions: 1. How much is it going to cost me to take this case to trial? And 2. When was the last time you tried a case in front of a jury?
The answer to the first question should weed out those lawyers who will quote a very inexpensive initial retainer, then charge an exorbitant amount of money to argue the case on the eve of trial. Thereby forcing a client to either come up with a lot of money in a very short amount of time or sign off on a plea agreement. Although every case and client is different, an attorney should have a pretty good idea of how much time will be spent on the case.
The answer to the second question should weed out those individuals who really have no intention of fighting or aggressively defending the case against the district attorney's office. Some may point to their 30+ years of experience or exclaim, "I've been doing this for over 20 years!" But if you scratch a little deeper you may find this person has not tried a case since they left the District Attorney's Office. Maybe they've never tried a case as a Defense Attorney. Maybe they haven't tried a case in 20 years.
I have tried dozens of cases in five different jurisdictions: Houston, Galveston, Conroe, Fort Bend and San Antonio. Cases as routine as Driving While Intoxicated or as complicated as Murder. I am in front a jury on a very regular basis. The hallmark of my practice is my aggressive philosophy. Every case that walks through the door is examined in terms of trial and is prepared to be presented in front of a jury. I am adamant about making sure that my clients get their day in court. I pride myself on the fact that I have never prosecuted anyone. I have fought for people's freedom since the day I was licensed.

I also pride myself on my accessibility to my clients. I am available at all times. My clients are not shuffled around amongst staff. If there is a problem, they can talk to me directly.
We are located on Houston's Northside on Airline Drive. Across from the original Doctor's Hospital and right next to Aranda's Plaza. Although we are in Houston, this office serves the good people of Houston, Galveston, Conroe and Fort Bend County. If you have a case in the San Antonio area, this office can help as well.
