EFFIE SOTER, ESQ.

Is an attorney licensed to practice in New York State with 10 + years legal experience specializing in Personal Injury, Car Accidents, Slip and Fall, Toxic Torts, Mold, Bed Bugs, Real Estate, Landlord and Tenant issues, Medical Malpractice, Commercial Litigation, and Intellectual Property.

Ms. Soter earned her JD from City University of New York School of Law and her B.A. from New York University. She worked for the New York State Attorney General’s Office, writing legal memoranda for motions and appeals claims against the state and drafted motions for medical malpractice ERISA age discrimination cases.

She now represents both defendants and plaintiffs on all aspects of personal injury matters, car accident cases, toxic torts, premises liability and handles appeals. She alao represents both landlords and tenants in Civil Court and negotiates, interprets and drafts commercial and residential real estate sales contracts and rental agreements.  She has also assisted the underserved in the field of family law and has provided pro bono services to immigration, bankruptcy, domestic violence victims, the elderly, and the Native American community in New York.

Effie speaks fluent Greek.  Her firm is dedicated to priding itself on service and being available to solve problems and make the legal process transparent to each client.  The firm does not cater to volume business but does provide personalized attention and exceptional work products at affordable rates.
