Elizabeth manages a diverse and unique practice within a boutique immigration firm with expertise in nearly all facets of employment-based immigration, family petitions, naturalization, and waivers of inadmissibility including J-1 waivers.
• Represent wide array of institutions ranging from multinational corporations to start-ups, nonprofit research organizations and arts institutions and academic institutions.
• Develop creative solutions for individual clients including scientists/researchers, entrepreneurs and business professionals, athletes, artists, musicians, and human rights defenders and those working in international development
• Particular expertise in developing creative solutions for those seeking permanent residence under the EB1 extraordinary ability and EB2 “national interest waiver” categories, as well as outstanding researcher/professor immigrant visa petitions and O-1 visas for the highly skilled
• Work with outside human resources and legal departments on securing work permission for foreign national personnel, and related compliance issues
• Advise global companies and individuals on international transfers to the U.S., with expertise in L and E visa matters
• Conduct briefings for corporate HR professionals and also for foreign national personnel on U.S. immigration law issues, compliance, changes in process and procedure, etc.
• Provide expert counsel to J-1 visa holders on compliance with the two year foreign residence obligation and various avenues for seeking waivers of the two year rule
• Assist families seeking reunification through family based petition and individuals with both routine and complex naturalization matters
• Oversee a team comprised of associate attorneys, senior paralegals, paralegals and legal assistants
