Biography

As an attorney on the human side of the law, I strive to provide my clients with an advocate and empower them to take control of their pre- and post-death planning and administration needs. Whether clients have significant wealth or not, they need an estate plan as everyone will, unfortunately, experience the death of a loved one at some point.

I always tell my clients that if they own anything, whether it be personal, real or intangible property that they wish to control the distribution of at their death, they must put it in writing. I pride myself on being able to guide people through the probate process following the loss of a loved one during a time that is often already stressful.

I have spent most of my career as a trust and estates attorney. I have also held a position in a private wealth management environment where I provided customized advice-based solutions for banking, investment and fiduciary clients working through various stages of their financial lives. In addition, I have represented children as guardian ad litem in abuse and neglect cases as well as individuals participating in assisted reproductive technology contracts.

On a personal level, I come from a long line of attorneys in my family and truly love what I do. I am the mother of two teenagers who keep me busy outside of work and am involved in some charitable causes that I hold close to my heart. I treasure spending time with my family (including our two dogs); but when I find the time, I also enjoy reading, running, spinning classes and yoga.
