Biography
Elizabeth Pollock-Avery is an attorney with Carlson Lynch Sweet Kilpela and Carpenter, LLP. Her practice focuses mainly on litigation, including employment and business litigation.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington Maurer School of Law and obtained her B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Elizabeth was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a co-ed law fraternity, in both undergraduate and law school, as well as a member of the Golden Key and Tau Sigma Honor Societies.
Elizabeth previously represented plaintiffs in litigation cases while working at Kraemer, Manes & Associates, LLC. Prior to joining the Kraemer, Manes & Associates, LLC, Elizabeth worked at the Shah Law Group, practicing estate and family law. While in law school, Elizabeth participated as a certified legal intern in Indiana University’s Disability Law Clinic, helping the underserved population of southern Indiana obtain Social Security and Medicaid benefits. She also was a certified legal intern at Indiana University’s Student Legal Services, helping the students of Indiana University with a variety of legal issues.
While originally from Buffalo, New York, Elizabeth adores her new home city of Pittsburgh, The character and charm of this city inspire her every day. Her hobbies include shopping in the Strip District, walking along Grandview Avenue and the Heritage River trails, and exploring the Greater Pittsburgh area.
