Elizabeth is the owner and managing attorney at Gerbasi Law Firm.  She is a California native who practices all over San Diego County.  She earned her law degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego.  Prior to earning her law degree and becoming an attorney, Elizabeth obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and her Associates Degree as a Paralegal from Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona.  

Elizabeth is an active member of the State Bar of California.  She is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, as well as in all California State Courts.  

Elizabeth is a member of the American Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association and Probate Attorneys of San Diego.  She is an active member in the Family Law and Trusts and Estate Sections and strives to keep current in her legal education in these areas.

Volunteering is a major component of Elizabeth's career.  She currently volunteers her attorney services at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego at both the Conservatorship and Power of Attorney/Advanced Health Care Directive Clinics, located in the Madge Bradley Probate Court in San Diego.  She has also volunteered at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer's Program, San Diego Rescue Mission, Conflict Resolution Skills Training for the Children at Risk Committee and the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence.  Elizabeth has participated as a judge for the American Mock Trial competition and also helps low income clients in conjunction with the San Diego County Bar Association.

In law school, Elizabeth was the Vice President of the Child, Family and Elder Law Society and became a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society for volunteering over fifty hours of time providing legal services.  

In addition to owning and managing her own law firm, Elizabeth is an Of Counsel associate with a multi-service firm, The Dean Law Group, A.P.L.C., where she provides advisory and transactional services.   

Elizabeth was nominated as an Outstanding Young Attorney in 2013 and a Top Attorney in 2014 by the San Diego Daily Transcript and is a proud member of the ARAG Attorney Network.  She has a solid legal background that extends for over a decade. She is committed to helping her clients plan for the future and resolve conflicts amicably and efficiently.
