Ellie Bragg grew up in Monroe and graduated from Monroe High School. She received her law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ellie is licensed in North Carolina and in the federal court in the United States Western District of North Carolina. Upon receiving her law license in 2015, Ellie joined a local private practice focusing her work in Criminal Defense, Family Law, Civil Litigation and Personal Injury work. In April 2019, Ellie joined her practice with Tee Leitner and now focuses on Civil Litigation, including business and contract disputes, government and municipal  and an array of personal injury claims.

Ellie lives in Monroe with her husband Will and two sons. Ellie is very  active in community organizations, serving as a current or past board member of the American Red Cross, Union County Education Foundation, Union County Bar Association and comittee member for the Community Shelter of Union County and Alliance for Children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an avid Tar Heel fan.

Ellie has been named a Rising Star by SuperLawers, Rising Stars is a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The attorney selection process is peer influenced and research driven, selecting the top 5% of attorneys to the Rising Star list each year. Ellie has also been awarded Legal Elite by Business North Carolina, and a Woman to Watch by the Union County Chamber. Leitner, Bragg & Griffin was awarded Rising Star in 2021 by the Union County Chamber and named Best Law Firm by Union Weekly magazine multiple years.
