Biography

Emanwel is from the United Kingdom, where he earned his law degree at St Hugh’s College, Oxford University and a post-graduate diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law in London. In 2011, Emanwel was among the first students to enroll in the University of Maryland School of Law’s graduate program, where he focused his studies on Consumer Law and earned an LL.M.

Emanwel's practice focuses on defending consumers who have been wronged by unscrupulous businesses. He sues debt collectors, banks, mortgage servicers and landlords who break the law and harm his clients. He represents ordinary people, including some pro-bono work through Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service.
