Mr. Goodman, originally from Macon Georgia, received a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English, from Mercer University, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. 

Mr. Goodman graduated from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law. During this time, he was an associate editor of the Mercer Law Review and a member of Phi Alpha Delta Honors society.  

Mr. Goodman is a member of the Macon-Bibb County Bar Association, State of Georgia Bar, American Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Commercial Law League of America, National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives, and National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys.
