Biography
I practice immigration law with respect and compassion for the families that I serve. My job is not just to help a client win an immigration case - I am here to provide you and your loved ones with peace of mind.
As an immigrant from El Salvador, I realize the determination that it takes to start a new life in a new country. I came to the United States as a teenager who did not speak fluent English. I studied and worked hard, eventually putting myself through law school. I understand the sacrifices that each of my clients have made to be in this country, and I want everyone to have the opportunity to find the same success.
I pride myself on being an attorney who has a detailed knowledge of immigration law, but I also take my role as an advocate very seriously. I always search for innovative approaches and resourceful arguments for each case. When other attorneys may give up, I have helped clients to get positive results.
As a lawyer practicing only in the field of immigration law, I have extensive experience obtaining successful outcomes in a wide range of immigration matters:
• Asylum
• Removal Defense
• Family-based Petitions
• Naturalization
• Special Immigrant Juvenile Status
• Consular Process
• Provisional Waivers
• Non-Immigrant Visas
• U-visas
• VAWA Petitions
• Detention Issues
I work closely with my clients through the entire process, so you will always feel prepared and there are no surprises. This includes personally preparing you for court hearings and interviews. I have represented clients before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
I look forward to helping you and your family through your immigration journey.
