Eric B. Nielson joined Roy, Nielson, Platts, McGee & Schoettger in 2014. Nielson earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law and also earned a Master's Degree in Accountancy from the University of Idaho's College of Business and Economics. During law school, Nielson led the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program which helps low income individuals file their tax returns. He also worked with Legal Aid Services at the College of Law where he provided legal services in family law matters. Nielson earned a Bachelor's Degree in History with a minor in Business Administration from Brigham Young University. His practice is focused primarily on probate and estate planning, divorce, child custody, child support, and other family law matters.
