Biography
Attorney Eric Pease was born in Des Moines, Iowa but spent his formative years fishing the rivers and streams around his boyhood homes in Mount Pleasant, Michigan and Marathon City, Wisconsin.
Eric attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and earned his B.A. in history in 1999. After college, he headed west to attend law school and explore the trout streams of the Rocky Mountains. He graduated from the University of Montana School of Law, with honors, in 2003. From 2003-2011, Eric practiced law at a Wausau firm, where he handled worker’s compensation and insurance defense litigation throughout Wisconsin. Since 2011, Eric has exclusively represented injured people in worker’s compensation, personal injury, and Social Security disability cases.
Eric has been elected to the “Best Lawyers in America” and has served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Association of Worker’s Compensation Attorneys. Eric has lectured for numerous groups on worker’s compensation law and he has taught legal research, litigation, and tort law at a local community college. He is a member of the Wisconsin and Montana Bar Associations and is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Wisconsin, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the state courts of Montana. In addition, he’s usually licensed to catch fish is several states and provinces.
