In Eric’s nearly 20 years with Weener & Nathan LLP and its predecessors, he has been able to hone his legal skills and his style of practice to achieve results. In both litigation and transactional matters, success for Eric is defined as the desired result. Rather than approaching matters from a traditional perspective, Eric utilizes his entrepreneurial spirit and experience to work backwards from the client’s desired outcome. As a third (3rd) generation Bulldog, Eric obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia and still relishes time spent in Sanford Stadium on fall Saturdays. Eric obtained his JD from the Walter F. Georgia School of Law at Mercer University, where he served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association.
During his entire legal career, Eric has focused on creative solutions, and has been fortunate enough to pursue numerous business opportunities, applying his legal expertise to form and grow various businesses in the real estate, petroleum, lending and educational arenas. Eric’s real world experience allows him to put himself in his client’s shoes, and to give them sound advice from past experiences. Eric enjoys his work and helping his clients achieve their desired outcomes, whether they be transactional or litigation based. Eric has been admitted Pro Hac Vice in numerous matters outside of the State of Georgia and is able to continue to direct litigation matters out of state with the assistance of local counsel.
